Want to Run for School Board? Attend this Forum for Information and Instructions

One of the most important yet overlooked elected positions in our democracy is your school board.

From the Arizona School Board Association: Local school boards are a uniquely American institution and at the heart of this country's public education system. A board's existence is based on the belief that lay control of public education makes schools flexible and responsive to the needs of the local community.

School boards are a great way for you to get involved at the local level and advocate for education policies in your school district. If you're interested in getting involved or running for school board, Maricopa County Democratic Party (MCDP) is hosting a new candidate forum for those who want more information.
