The shutdown of an Arizona charter school is a warning to parents

New details reveal there was nothing abrupt about the shutdown of Discovery Creemos Academy-12 News

Discovery Creemos Academy took $12 million of your tax dollars before they closed. In 2016-17 they spent 43% of their budget on administration. They were failing academically. And yet, they were allowed to remain open. Why? Because the majority party at the legislature generally refuses to consider bills seeking accountability for charter schools. I've co-sponsored four bills this session that would provide some transparency and structure -- not one has been given a hearing.
